Hello, since a CUPS version after 1.2.7 cupstestppd detects errors in UIConstraints and/or NonUIConstraints.
See Novell/Suse Bugzilla bug https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=309822 When this bug is fixed, cupstestppd may no longer result zero exit code and then many PPDs will no longer PASS cupstestppd. Please find attached cupstestppd.hplip.failed.gz which lists the new failing PPDs in HPLIP and cupstestppd.manufacturer-PPDs.hp.failed.gz which lists other new failing PPDs from HP which I downloaded from LinuxPrinting.org (probably also available via OpenPrinting). By the way - for your information: Currently cupstestppd doesn't work for some gzipped PPDs, see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=309832 and http://www.cups.org/str.php?L2510 Kind Regards Johannes Meixner -- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstrasse 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany AG Nuernberg, HRB 16746, GF: Markus Rex
