I have a parallel print (HP OFFICEJET PRO 1170C). I installed the source file like the description in the site http://hplip.sourceforge.net/install/index.html Also I installed the print with the Gnome's utility (System > Administration > Printing). I can print but I can't scan. Xsane don't detect any scanner. The Hp-Toolboox command related this notice: "No installed device found to install a device use the cups web interface or the printer installation utility that came with your operating system. After setting up a printer must press F6 or chose device | Refresh all for the printer to appear in the device Manager" Can you help me?
