Fedora tries to generate the PPDs from the XML files, I think.  Someone that
handles the Fedora packaging should be able to give a better answer, I hope
they're around this list.

I'd be best to just download the PPD from linuxprinting.org, maybe?

That's the one Fedora gives you.  Please try using that one or a
linuxprinting.org one.

Methinks there's something getting really confused by the JetDirect port
(9100) and treating that as if it were a model number.
