The differences I see between the 6210 and 6310 (from the HP website) are: 6300 has an automatic document feeder for the scanner 6300 has a memory card reader (Secure Digital/MultiMedia Card, CompactFlash Type I and II, Memory Stick, xD-Picture Card) 6300 comes with Ethernet connectivity. By the way, I have it running under my hacked version of .9.10 as a network printer, and xsane and Kooka both see the scanner, no problem. The request for integrating copy functionality into HPLIP is a nice-to-have.
