The version of hplip included in my OS (Debian 3.1 r2) is 0.9.2-2 - which does not include the driver for the currently-available DeskJet 3940.
It does include the driver for DeskJet 3845 - which uses the same Print Class (DJ3600). Will the DeskJet 3940 work if I select the DeskJet 3845 driver in CUPS? Thank you in advance for any advice on updating the installed HPLIP data-base.
