Sorry, I actually realized what the problem was some time after I sent
this e-mail.

It was simply that a coworker had disabled SNMP write access on the
printer, deeming it unnecessary. When SNMP write access was enabled,
scanner started working just fine.

But there is actually one problem. When scannin in 'Lineart' mode,
only garbage is shown in the preview mode and scanning fails with an
IO error. Grayscale and Color modes work fine. Lineart mode is not
necessary for us, so no fix is needed - just thought I'd mention.

Also, is there a possibility for somehow to make the "Scan" button
that automatically scans to a PC scan to a Linux server?
