Having a look at the source, the ppd files look quite human readable. Am I right in thinking that I could take a DJ810 ppd file (which I know works for the 1180) and paste in the a3 paper lines from the DJ1100 and see if that works?
I've also looked at the gimp-print source and their instructions for adding a new printer. Armed with my C primer from my university years I'm hoping to find time to experiment with that too.
