Jyria,

It looks like you are missing some of the foomatic files that are required. Please try removing hplip and doing a clean install.

Hope this helps!

Unfortunately yes, but I haven't been able to try fix it for a while, too much things to do. BTW. I sent you some debug information did that reveal anything more?

Are you still having a problem with this?

I have removed and re added printer several times, no luck. Something weird is going on because hp-toolbox can see printer correctly, can tell how much there is inc left and can request cartridge align but it can't print.

I'll look over the log..as well have you tried to remove/readd the printer?

Jyri,

How about if we turn on cups logging to debug mode and look at the cups log.

Edit the /etc/cups/cupsd.conf file and change loglevel to debug (not debug2)
save, exit, restart cups.
then run: tail -f /var/log/cups/error_log
try and print, post the /var/log/cups/error_log output.

Thanks!

A

Nope, Nothing changed, scanning works, hp-align works but printing doesn't. hp-toolbox log says that printing starts and is completed instantly but in reality printer does nothing.

tail -f /var/log/messages says:
