Hi, I have a psc 1315 attached to a LPR server appliance by Netgear. The only listening ports are 80 (for management) and 515, for lpr. I've been working on configuring my Fedora 5 box to print to it without success, although if I connect the psc 1315 via usb locally it works. I also printed via lpr from windows to that print server, so I know that end works. I've been reading the docs and what I understand is that hplip is not really what I need, but rather hpijs. Is that correct?
Going on that assumption I attempted to configure it using cups and hpijs. I noticed that I don't have the hpijs driver show in the cups list of drivers, just hplip. Am I missing something? Anyway, I'd appreciate some direction so at least I know I'm not banging my head against the wrong wall. Thanks, -Mike __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam?
