"rio" is homemade: MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum Socket 939 nForce3 Ultra M/B, 
Athlon-64 3200+ Winchester, 2x512MB PC-3200 Ram, 2x160GB SATA (Seagates, I
think)

I started up tail -f /var/messages/log and scanned 3 pages. Got this:
