hi don,

I switched my system to US-Keyboard - I didn't find an accent character key.
So maybe the easiest way is to create an empty directory an rename it in
file-manager like konqueror or nautilus - when you are in
editing mode, use a tool like "KCharSelect" to insert an accented character
like "o" ot create something like "testing_olé"

you will see that is not possible to choose this directory for unloading images.

  harald

Harald:

I'd like to reproduce this issue... I was wondering, how would I create
a non-ASCII path on an English Linux installation?

 Thanks,

 Don
