Hello,
i recently bought a new Laserjet and decided to connect it via a wireless
Printserver
(a SEH PS54G which supports a wide range of protocols and of course is jetadmin
compatible). I was able to successfully setup the printer via hp-setup (ok,
printing of
the testpage gives an error) and use it to print via cups.
However hp-info and hp-toolbox are not working. I´ve attached the output
of hp-info -g.
I´m not sure how to interpret the data. It seems to me that the device is
telling us
that´s down or unplugged and the python code has some problems with parsing
the status answer. However, the answer itself seems to be not correct as the
printer is working perfectly.
I tried to connect the printer via usb directly and the problem disappeared.
However i
need the WLAN connection because i´ve no space to place the printer near my
computer.
Can you help?
