An unfortunate thing happened while I was replying to your message
yesterday. The phone rang. When I tried to answer it, I pulled the
network cable which forced the computer to fall on its side.

I booted it again to realize that the computer could not see any of
the HP 4200 stuff. I still cannot connect to CUPS at
http://127.0.0.1:631/printers.

This morning the FC6 system can see the printers. Attached is the
screenshot. I do not what the policy regarding sending images to the
list is, but I apologize if I cause any problem.

hp-setup does not work stating that it could not connect to hpiod. It
had no problem like that before the fall.

I realized that for ppd file, somehow OfficeJet 9100 was used. I
changed it to OfficeJet 4200 and managed to print a test page which
ended with "Printed using cups v1.2.x".

Now that I can print and am quite happy with it; how can I use the
printer's fax and scan utilities?

Thank you for your time,
