Hi Zaki,
Looks like something went wrong with your CUPS installation, either the
"tmp" directory doesn't exist
or it doesn't have right permissions. This is from the error_log file:

D [05/Nov/2006:10:10:05 +0100] [Job 8] ESP Ghostscript 815.01: ****
Could not open temporary file /var/spool/cups/tmp/gs_derRSW
D [05/Nov/2006:10:10:05 +0100] [Job 8] ESP Ghostscript 815.01: Could not
open the scratch file /var/spool/cups/tmp/gs_derRSW.
D [05/Nov/2006:10:10:05 +0100] [Job 8] **** Unable to open the initial
device, quitting.

The permissions on /var/spool/cups/tmp should be something like:
drwxrwx--T 2 root lp ...

Raghu

i've attached a part of the error_log, and black catridge in hp-toolbox
says "Low" not empty, but there is nothing in the bars underneath it.
