To whom it may concern @ HPLIP team: My company is currently in need of the HPLIP supported printers list to include the 1020 Laserjet. Please let me know how I may go about adding this printer to the project, or getting it added. I am interested in compiling the necessary info and/or putting in the necessary effort to see this through. Please respond with the proper method by which this printer can become supported. Do not hesitate to give me the most technical answer possible, so long as it will result in the 1020 being supported. If the HPLIP team can produce this result quickly with a financial motivation to do so, perhaps that can also be negotiated. Time is, sadly, a factor in all of this. I look forward to hearing from you with some urgency. Thankyou for your great work as well.
