Hello, I use Debian Sarge and the version of hplip is:

ii hplip 0.9.2-2 HP Linux Printing and Imaging
System (hplip)
ii hplip-data 0.9.2-2 HP Linux Printing and Imaging -
data files
ii hplip-ppds 0.9.7-3bpo1 HP Linux Printing and Imaging - PPD
files

What version of linux are you using? What version of hplip?

Can you run hp-check and post the output?

I have installed the an HP colorjet 3600. I installed the HP drivers and
it
works great for one page.
On the second and subsequent pages it prints a black line at the top of
the
page and removes a portion of the bottom.
