Hi folks, i'm an owner of an HP K550 Printer (i love it!) an have a Linux-machine running on Suse Linux 9.1 (yes i know it's over-aged ;-)
Although i'm planning to replace Suse by Kubuntu, i need to print with my K550 right now - the few printing-jobs i had to do during the last 6 months i did from my Win XP-Notebook (i did the work with OO.o on the Linux-Machine, trandferred it on an external harddisk, an then, with the laptop, got it from there for printing...) In the next 6 - 8 weeks i problably will have to do much more printign-jobs and so i want to do it al on the larger screen of the Linux machine. My problems are: - i couldn't figure out up to now, which of the hplip-versions mentioned on the download-page will run on Suse 9.1 - i couldn't find installing-instructions for suse 9.1 Anybody out there, who can help me?
