If I understand you correctly... You've setup your printer to a Linux box and attached your printer to it. I assume you're using HPLIP and your printing in Linux is working well. What you're trying to do now, is print the the Linux/printer setup. This leads me to believe that you have setup the printer in Linux as a share using some sort of SAMBA implementation.
IF this is true...try a google search for "printing from windows to a linux shared printer" and you should get some results on how to go about this. As well as some possible help for what you're describing. I'm not confident that HP Technical Support will be able to help as you are not attaching the printer to a Windows PC, but you can always try. Likewise we are not able to support how to make Windows connect to Linux.
