Hi all Firstly i will like to thank all those who made this nice piece of software which makes operating HP printers a snap on linux.
Printing, copying are working fine on this device but there is a problem in scanning. The default scans have a pinkish background and are hard to correct. Using the windows driver i can see the same background momentarily in the preview which then gets corrected in the final preview. I can work it around somewhat using gamma correction etc. in xsane but the results are quite unsatisfactory. Is this a known driver problem or a device malfunction?
