I have downloaded the HPLIP 1.6.10 package for my computer runninh
Slackware 11.0
It was said in the README that PyQT was required.
I have so installed successfully :
- sip-4.5.2 ( required by Qt )
- Qt4.2.2 ( required by PyQT )
- and finally PyQT 4.1.1
Everything compiled slowly from sources but with full success !
With all these packages installed, I run :
# hp-setup
HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 1.6.10)
