Aaron,
Well I did a partial up grade on my machine today everything but the KDE
packages and the hpaio broke as before so here is the requested read out now
that it is broken again. the
SANE_DEBUG_HPAIO=8 xsane >& sane_log.txt
is attached I hope it helps to sort out the problem.
I promise not to fix the problem this time by manipulating my packages but
please try to get in tough soon. as I hate having to dual boot to get to the
scanner.
