As long as the printer is connected to the network, has an IP address, and
is accessible from your PC, it should work with HPILP. Can you ping the
printer? View/print the wireless IP address from the printer and then try to
ping it from your PC ($ ping <ip-address>). Once you have connectivity, use
hp-setup to install it. In hp-setup, if it isn't found automatically, chose
the manual install button to enter the IP address that you got.

JetDirect is needed. Sorry, I posted about this once before, and
received the solution of connecting with an ethernet cable to the
router. In this siuation, that is not viable, and buying a JetDirect is
far out of the question. So, is it possible to circumvent the situation?
