I'm really confused about the values that appear in the PPD files
provided with HPLIP.

I'm working with an HP-8750 and according the "Technical
Documentation:Printable Areas" table a 1/8 inch (0.125 in) border is
used on each side. Measuring on my system I have found this to be true
and looking at the ijs code I also found 0.125 used for the margins.

It would seem that the "HWMargins" entry in the PPD should be "9 9 9 9"
but is actually "18 36 18 9".

Looking at the entries for 4x6 photo paper the "PaperDimension" entries
for "Photo" and "PhotoTearOff" make sense at "288 432" for both but the
"ImageableArea" for "Photo" is "0 36 288 432" and for "PhotoTearOff" is
"0 0 288 432".

I would think that both should be "9 9 270 414" to account for the 0.125
inch margins.

I have thought that "PhotoTearOff" might be defined with the
"ImageableArea" the same as the "PaperDimension" assuming that it would
be used for full bleed printing but that doesn't seem to explain
"Photo".

I admit that I haven't read the rather voluminous document describing
PPD files so perhaps I am missing something rather fundamental.
