Can you tell me what you are wanting to achieve? I may be able to provide
more information with a better idea of what your goal is. If you are
looking for xsane scan options you may want to look at scanimage. hpaio is
scanning backend, however the different scanning applications
(scanimage/xsane) connect to hpaio but still use the variables that are
built into the application.
ie if you run 'man scanimage' this should provide you with a decent list of
options.
