I'll jump in and add my appreciation. This past weekend I bought an Officejet 6310 for our home office because of HP's excellent Linux support. My wife uses MS Windows, and her printing needs are so slight that almost any printer will do. I paid a little extra and got more features because I knew I would be able to use the device from my linux machine.
