Hi all:
I follows instructions of hplip install and configuration. But when the
printer setup wizard turns up, it cannot find my network Laserjet 4200
printer. I tried it both automatically and manually. Both of them failed in
finding network printer. I have disabled firewalls. I am sure network
connection is good coz I can ping the printer and other computers with xp or
redhat9 systems can print by that printer. What is the problem?? I know the
correct IP of the printer. But printer setup wizard cannot find it.
My system is Fedora6. I used to configure the same network printer on
redhat9 and xp successfully. Could u plz help me on configuring network
LaserJet 4200 on Fedora6? Thanks very much!
