Hello, I'm using the HP LIP Toolbox on Ubuntu 7.04 together with an Officejet 6310. When viewing or printing a scanned text page (black text on white background / normal paper), this page has a grey background. I guess some settings in sane are wrong, but i don't know which of them? Using the standalone copy function of the Officejet, which shouldn't be more than scanning and printing, results in a great copy. So the problem has to be software driven!? But how to fix it?
