Try running with SELinux disabled and see if that helps.

        Subject: [Hplip-help] hplip needs restart

        Hello,

everytime I boot my Fedora Core 6, the hpssd service can't
start.
When linux is booted I can't use my photosmart 2575 When I type
"service hplip restart" ofcourse hpssd can't be stopped but now It
starts OK.

I checked my /var/log/messages file and this is the error line:

        May 15 21:20:09 f172133 hp: unable to open /var/run/hpssd.port:
No such file or directory: api/hplip_api.c 103
May 15 21:20:09 f172133 hp: unable to connect hpssd socket 2207:
Connection refused: api/hplip_api.c 738

How can I solve my little problem so that it's starts OK during
boot

        Thanks in advance
        Christian Prins
