I'm not really sure about this one. The engineer who works on the hp-setup
is unavailable for the next week. I'll send this to him and see what he
thinks. But we probably wont get much movement until next week or so.

I have absolutely no problem with iptables inactive, but with iptables
active, it just simply won't work. As best I can tell, iptables is
configured so that related traffic (in the case of mdns anyway) is
allowed through.
It appears to me that maybe iptables is doing something weird, as I can
see *some* Avahi discoveries fail. Reseting the firewall gets Avahi
happy again.
