Hello, I have an HP PSC 1610 that I am trying to get working over the network. My Debian server has CUPS installed and I can print to that server with the ipp protocol from my Gentoo laptop. Is there a way to have the laptop use all of the features of the HPLIP drivers over the network or is remote printing the best that can be done?
I am mostly interested in being able to scan over the network, I saw a writeup for SANE networking, I just didn't know if there was an alternative through the HP drivers.
