My images print with too much yellow. Printing from hp-toolbox, I can adjust
saturation and hue, to get the right colours, but these setting don't seem
to have any effect when printing from some other program (e.g. F-spot,
Gnome, Gthumb, ShowFoto). When printing from hp-toolbox, I can't get the
dimensions right, so that it prints a photo borderless on 10x15 cm (4x6")
photo paper.
Can I get the saturation and hue settings to be used by other programs as
well? Any ideas on reducing the yellow? On screen the images look great.
I also tried to calibrate the printer using the hp-toolbox, but it didn't
have any apparent effect. How does this work? Can I find a colour profile
file somewhere that I can use with e.g. ShowFoto?
On a side note, how do I print from the GIMP? It doesn't show my printer as
supported.
