I am using Ubuntu 7.04, and have installed HPLIP and the HP Desktop D2300 printer. The printer is working, but some tabs in the Device Manager are not, as follows
First column to left: HP Desktop D2300 is in faint colours. Functions Tab: Error: Device not found. Status tab: device communication error. Code 5012. Supplies@ Device not found. Tools: refers me to the HPLIP website. Print Settings: OK Print control: OK How can I get the full operation of the Device Manager?
