just a quick word on the link to the sourcforge download on this page:
http://hplip.sourceforge.net/downloads.html
the link points to "http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/hplip/hplip-2.7.7.run" instead of "http://downloads.sourceforge.net/hplip/hplip-2.7.7.run". as i am familiar with what the address should be for sourceforge, i was able to find the correct page, but others may not. i don't know if the same incorrect link is present anywhere else on the site...
thanks for your efforts in supporting the linux community - i specifically chose to purchase an HP printer over other manufacturers for use with my linux computer because of the availability of linux drivers for HP printers in general.
