Good Day Peggy

First, by blinking light...with the new pens, when you close the cover
does the pen travel to the right and stay there and the light blinks?
Can you print at all?

If you open the cover of your 930, there should be some symbols with
happy faces or unhappy faces. Or perhaps it will show ink cartridges
with 'x' on them. These symbols are there to try and represent if the
cartridge is good or bad. I know they're on the 990. And your printer is
off that family. You can use those symbols to tell which pen is giving
you trouble. If you open the lid, and there is a pen issue, the carraige
will travel to the bad pen symbol.

Once you know which pen you might try looking at the where that pen goes
into its black 'holder'. Make sure no pins are bent or damaged. If they
look good gently clean them with a lint free cloth. If any ink seems to
come off those pins you might try to clean them with a little rubbing
alcohol. Just put a bit on your lint free cloth, wipe and you should be
good to go. Just reinstall the pen and try again.

If that does not work, you can attempt the same with the pen. You'll
want to clean the little gold dots those pins contact...not where the
ink comes out.

Its an older printer so its possible it's just gone bad. It's hard to
verify that at home. If you still have the old pens, you could try
putting those back in and see if the printer fails for the same pen etc.

Hope this helps you.
