Well, it is a dual  AMD Athlon(TM) MP 2000+
cpu MHz         : 1680.454
bogomips        : 3363.10

So I rather doubt that that is the problem.  Also it worked in the past 
(before HPLIP).  In the more recent past, all output seemed to come out 
in the wrong orientation (Landscape and Portrait switched) but at 
reasonable speeds.  This changed to the current problem when I updated 
to fedor f7.
