Just read the comment in /etc/sane.d/saned.conf or see "man saned": --------------------------------------------------------------------- The contents of the saned.conf file is a list of host names, IP addresses or IP subnets (CIDR notation) that are permitted to use local SANE devices. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Therefore both 192.168.1.100/120 and 192.168.1* are wrong notations.
