Folks, I am noticing that most images (if not all) have an odd band of 2 or 3 mm on the leading and/or trailing edge of different color balance.
I also note that the saturation and contrast is not all very good with most images. For example, fleshtones show excessive dither. However, the test image on the HP test page looks fine. This seems to occur whether I use CUPS, the hp-toolbox or GIMP. Is this to be expected? Any ideas what is going on and how to fix it? Or is there any way that I can confirm that this is normal?
