thanks for this. unfortunately, im still stuck. i dont know what to do, it says it's missing gcc (amongst others), but like i said, i have the gcc command in my terminal.
i'd like to reinstall gcc, but it just seems overwhelming. i dont know how to build programs from source, etc etc. i cant believe their website does not have give a link to binaries for linux but does so for so many other os'es ive never heard of. is there a way to check if gcc is really installed on my machine? i mean, isnt it if i have the gcc command? it just seems foreign to me that i need all this technical stuff just to run my hp printer from wal mart. thanks. -j On 10/17/07, dwelch91 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > No, I haven't seen that error that you saw before now. > > One thing you can try is this: > > 1.
