Hi List, I'm using gentoo and had to upgrade to hplip 1.7.4a after that I wasn't able to print anymore. With 1.7.4a I get the messages:
Oct 24 23:29:07 xxx hpiod: removing usblp driver interface=0 for

I then tried the latest release from ebuild 2.7.9 same problem I get the
message:
Oct 25 00:03:24 xxx usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 14 if 0 alt 0 proto 2
vid 0x03F0 pid 0x7204
Oct 25 00:03:36 xxx usblp0: removed
I went through the troubleshooting page, could not find the answer for my
problem.
It happens both from cups and the HP Device Manager.
I'm attaching the output of hp-check.log from 2.7.9
My printer is a Deskjet 3650
Any help appreciated!
