Hello,

I had hoped to be able to respond to 5150's appeal to me to come on and
talk about tts on the new year show at some time.

But so far I have:

1. Not been able to install mumble on Debian due to 'held broken
packages'. A problem I can't solve.

2. Installed mumble on Windows 7 only to discover that because it's a
Qt app the a11y is patchy and next to useless on there.

3. Installed mumble on Trisquel only to have Orca tell me it's totally
inaccessible and even the ALT+S suggested by Jonathan doesn't work for me.

So, unfortunately I can't get on.

It's a pity because earlier Jonathan and somebody else I don't know were
talking about syntax highlighting for blind programmers, which is an
interesting subject and covered in quite large chunks by Emacspeak.

Anyway, can't do it.

Thanks to Ken for changing the link on the web site to say 'PDF', and
thanks to 50 for his help.

Mike
