i think in general terms you are right, but in my case the situation is
a bit different. i live in mountains of southern catalunya and get
internet via wimax. the isp we have is a tiny, new, local startup who
specializes in out of the way places and i actually know the main
techdude there personally. so i suspect they may be more responsive if i
were to approach with them with something.
