Hi All,

I'm currently building a new HPR database using PostgreSQL. In it I'm
implementing the one-to-many and many-to-many relationships that the
current database lacks. I have talked about this in the past, so it's
time to do something!

One of the enhancements I have made in this new database is that a given
show can be linked to more than one host. I have written an
administrative tool that can add hosts to shows, and so far I have used
it to operate on shows that I have recorded with co-hosts, and it works
fine.

So, what I'm looking for now is more information about any HPR shows
that have multiple hosts, so this fact can be represented properly in
the new database.

If you are the contributor of such a show please let me know so that I
can make the necessary adjustments.

Although I'm working on a test database now, I will collect details of
all the changes that are needed so that they can be applied when we move
to a new database design. We have no timescale for this at the moment.

I should say that we currently have a few shows in the live database
which are linked to "double" hosts called something like "Host1 and
Host2", because of the lack of proper database relationships. See show
1206 as an example, where "NYbill and Windigo" is a separate "double"
host. I have written code to detect such cases and deal with them when
transferring between old and new databases, so you can ignore these.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Dave
