As it is, Freenode is requiring registration and I don't see myself
re-registering for that channel given what's happened with Freenode,
especially since most of the channels I used to idle in on Freenode
are now on Libera or OFTC (Haiku being the only one on the latter). I
and others have tried to get others on the old channel to move over
but they don't see an incentive to do so.
