Hello Hartmut,

Thanks for your review, I already submit it through the GSoC webpage.

Professor Falcou thinks that the proposal has too much work . Maybe I am thinking cut it down to implementation of algorithm SUMMA using distributed matrix container. Then I would like to spend some time in write a tutorial/guild to do this.

I know that I just begin learning HPX and it's not really my place to write a tutorial considering my knowledge to HPX and C++. But I read a lot of tutorial when I was learning a new language/framework, I think I know what makes a good tutorial and for beginners what they need.

Here's the link to a Javascript tutorial A good tutorial <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Guide/Introduction>. Of cause compared to C++ and HPX, Javascript is much easier to learn. But this tutorial presents concepts of Javascript with examples that let beginners learn by practice. Most importantly, it introduces the concepts in a smooth way, that is, specially for advanced technique, it first explains motivation, then its principle and how to use it, in the end it provides a example to let learner practice.

Best,

Wenke

Please be aware that you will have to submit your proposal through the GSoC
webpage in the end.

Subject: [hpx-users] GSoC proposal - implementing distributed matrix
multiplication

Dear all Stellar group members,

I am Wenke, a student from University Paris-Saclay, I am currently
studying parallel and distributed computing.

Here's my proposal for GSoC, Implementations of cannon's algo and SUMMA
and a segmented matrix container.

The detail is attached here, and I would like ask you to review it.

Best,

Wenke DU
