You don’t have to prove anything. In order for getting selected for GSoC you will have to write a proposal outlining how you plan to solve the task. We have some guidelines for this here: https://github.com/STEllAR-GROUP/hpx/wiki/GSoC-Submission-Template, also some tips on how to write successful proposals here: https://github.com/STEllAR-GROUP/hpx/wiki/Hints-for-Successful-Proposals. In terms of content, I’d suggest you start by installing HPX, verifying that you can run the examples (and perhaps the tests), start reading docs to understand what HPX is all about. Then I’d suggest to start planning how you think you could build bindings for a scripting language. We’d prefer you targeted Python, but you might have another idea. Talk to us!
