Dear Mentors,
I am a student at the International Institute of Information Technology,
Bangalore, and am pursuing an Integrated MTech in Information
Technology. I am currently in my 4th year, and am hoping to participate
in GSoC this year, as an integral step in making a significant
contribution to the open-source community.
I went through the list of ideas given by Stellar Group, and could
really see the relevance of the projects. A few projects really piqued
my interest, among which were Script Language Bindings, A C++ Runtime
Replacement, and Distributed Component Placement. The idea behind these
projects really fascinated me, and I would really like to know more, and
possibly contribute to one of these.
As far as the prerequisites are concerned, I am well versed in python
and c++, and have been looking into the other requirements for these
projects.
I am reaching out to you to let you know of my interest, and hope that
you can provide me with more information about these projects, and help
me understand them better so that I can contribute accordingly. Also
please let me know if there are some specific prerequisites to
submitting a proposal for these projects.
