Hi, The first thing you should do is have a look through our wiki on project ideas and writing successful proposals: https://github.com/STEllAR-GROUP/hpx/wiki/GSoC-2019-Project-Ideas<https://github.com/STEllAR-GROUP/hpx/wiki/GSoC-2019-Project-Ideas,>, and https://github.com/STEllAR-GROUP/hpx/wiki/Hints-for-Successful-Proposals. The second thing would be to compile HPX (and Phylanx if relevant for the project) and play around with it. Try to write some small programs using HPX. Once you've done that (or while you're doing it) you might want to join our IRC channel (ste||ar on freenode) where we can discuss your interests and potential issues for you to solve.
