Subject: Interesting Project - BING - Any referrals?

Hi Joseph,

I have a unique position that I’m sending out to see if you know anyone who might be interested. This role is with the BING team at MS, being a data labeling judge. Essentially, they are looking for competent candidates to categorize BING’s search results.

Now, this isn’t the sexiest of jobs, but it’s a fulltime position that offers full benefits. If you know someone that has been hit during the recession and needs something to do, this is a GREAT role for him or her. The pay is $15/hr and they are looking for all types of people, any age, any background. The main requirement is that they would need someone resilient and competent using popular search engines.

Please let me know if you know someone who would be interested. We have a great referral program! The full job description is below.

Thanks,
Erin

Bing Search is a world class web search portal with millions of users per day. The Commerce Search Relevance team has a need to perform measurements on web data. 2) Product Categorization – Classify search terms based on a database of set categories.

3) Error Reduction Work – Proofreading product titles, descriptions, and images.

4) Product Matching – grouping similar items

5) Ad hoc Projects

Additional Skills:
The ability to self-pace and prioritize work. Exercise a flexible mind-set, trying to understand user intent and achieve agreement among fellow analysts. Attention to detail.
