This is Arun from Sure IT Solutions Inc, Please reply to *[email protected]* *Title : Web sphere Application Server Portal Architect Location : Hartford, CT Duration : 1 Year Interview : Telephonic and Skype* Our Client is looking for Web Sphere Application Server Architect with following skills:- • Experience with Web Sphere Application Server (version 6.1+ preferably 7, 3 years minimum). • Installation, configuration and system administration (security, resources, diagnosis and tracing, etc) through admin console, and CLI (wsadmin). • Capacity planning for development, testing, and production environments. • Topology and deployment models (Network deployment) Understanding of JEE 5+ applications development and deployment. • Web Sphere Portal Server (version 6.0+ preferably 7, 1 year minimum). • Installation, configuration and system administration (virtual portals, security and access, portlets registration, themes and skins) through portal web based UI, and xmlaccess + Config Engine tasks. • Capacity planning for development, testing, and production environment including portal user registry and databases • Topology and deployment model • Understanding of the various artifacts created through custom portlet development, portal configuration, security, and themes/skins in terms of packaging, and promotions from one environment to the other. • Performance tuning of various portal services such as content services, PUMA, caching services, etc. Optional: • JEE5+ development experience • Experience with continuous integration environments (preferably Hudson or similar) • Experience with ANT scripting • Some basic experience with virtualization specifically around capacity planning and Web Sphere Application Server. *Thank You.
