*Position: Informatica Architect* *Location: Shelton, CT* *Duraiton: 6 Months* *Rate: Open* * * *Job Description:* - Experience with Informatica v9.1 is a must. - Looking for ETL architect to assist with high level designs, detailed designs, data mappings, data modeling, data profiling, query design, data flow design, etc between multiple databases across multiples platforms. - ETL Architect will support and contribute to DW/ETL architecture and act as data SME (subject matter expert) with respect to ETL Design and participate in design sessions with Data Architects and Systems Analysts. - This person will function in the role of the Application Developer/Architect and provides long-term strategy in the areas of ETL, Data warehousing and reporting applications. This position provides application and development support for the areas such as: ETL, DW and Reporting applications. - The incumbent will work directly with departmental resources to determine needs, goals, objectives and budget. Based on these needs, develop process and technology infrastructure requirements. - Selected candidate shall be responsible for prioritizing, planning and managing complex ETL and Data warehousing projects. - Experience with XML and multi-language transformation in the latest Informatrica, Oracle and Teradata environments are essential.
